I attend many dog-friendly local events during the summer and it is always a joy meeting like-minded dog-lovers. During one of Fort Wayne’s annual pet events, I met the sweet Nikki and her pooch Baya! Soon after, I had the pleasure of photographing Baya with Nikki and Bobby(just before their 2015 wedding) – CLICK here for Baya’s big debut on the blog.

Fall and Christmas-time is always a busy season for my business and personal life, but I always try to accommodate photography sessions around these times because that is when family gather, maybe for the first time in years! When Nikki contacted me for a family session(a Christmas gift to her mother – LOVE the gift of photography, priceless!), I did not hesitate to schedule! It was Nikki and Bobby, Nikki’s brother and his family, and Nikki’s parents ~ don’t forget, the four-legged family members too!

I just LOVE this black and white portrait!

As you can see, Nikki and Bobby have added a fur-kid to their family… Baya is there on the right and Kona is on the left, she was adopted by them at the 2015 Pawject Runway event! I even got a few photographs of her at the event when she was a pup!
